Our current pick at the moment, in the Japanese hip-hop space, who is putting out world-class bars, is a man with many names, but goes by Keiju. Formally known as Young Juju, of Kandytown. Kandytown is a larger group of member with an assortment of 16 different rappers. Some notables, are Gottz, and Ryohu.
Keiju is a versatile rapper, who is capable of very melodic hooks, and recently a very notable ending verse in Luv Myself, with Kvi Baba, and AKLO. Our current favorite is, You Came Back, featuring, Keiju, IO, Gottz, and Holly Q. Keiju melodically puts his hook with IO, giving a great setup for Gottz to put a very hard-hitting verse to bed.
Check out his EP, Speed Tape. Out top two picks are Wind Rise, and They Sayin, Keiju will undoubtedly have you becoming a fan of Japanese hip-hop.
